Terms of Service
Last updated: August 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of jurishub.ca (the "Service"), operated by Juris ("Juris," "we," "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What Juris is
Juris is a recruitment intelligence platform for Canadian law and pre-law students. It includes The Vault (structured data on law firm hiring, sourced and admin-verified), a Law School Hub, a content Feed written by verified students, and a private Application Tracker.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Juris. The Service is primarily intended for law students, pre-law students, and others with a genuine interest in the Canadian legal recruiting process.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at info@jurishub.ca if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Each account is for one individual — please don't share accounts or create multiple accounts to misrepresent yourself.
Some features, like publishing to the Feed, require verifying your status as a student at a recognized law school or undergraduate institution.
Acceptable use
When using Juris, you agree not to:
- Scrape, bulk-harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond normal browsing
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a firm, school, or organization
- Post content that is false, defamatory, harassing, or that discloses someone else's private information without their consent
- Use recruiting contact information published on the Service for unsolicited bulk outreach or spam
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service, including rate limits and bot protection
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Content you post
You retain ownership of the content you post to Juris — Feed articles, your bio, and similar. By posting content, you grant Juris a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it on the Service, including on your public profile if you choose to publish under your name.
You're responsible for content you post. Feed posts are reviewed by an administrator before publication and may be rejected or removed if they violate these Terms, and we may remove any content at our discretion.
Accuracy of firm, school, and recruiting data
We work to keep Vault and Schools data accurate and current, sourcing it from firm-published materials, official recruiting timelines, industry sources, and admin verification. That said, hiring numbers, deadlines, and other figures can change without notice, and a "verified" label reflects that we've reviewed the source of a data point — it isn't a guarantee that the information is complete, current, or error-free.
Don't treat data on Juris as the sole basis for an application, admissions, or career decision. Always confirm important dates and requirements directly with the firm or school.
Not professional advice
Juris is an information platform, not a substitute for professional legal, career, or admissions counseling. Nothing on the Service constitutes legal or professional advice.
Third-party links
The Service links to firm websites, application portals, and other third-party resources we don't control. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.
Termination
You can stop using Juris at any time. To request that your account be deleted, email info@jurishub.ca. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to Juris or other users.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juris will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any decision made in reliance on data published on the Service.
Changes to these Terms or the Service
We may update these Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the date below. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
